Drain pool

Chip out entire pool as shown

Cut below tile line and chip out

Cut around main drain and return fittings

Remove all debris

Acid wash entire pool with straight muratic acid

bullet

Rinse and clean entire pool

bullet

Apply a special blend of white Portland, sand and a special bonding agent

bullet

Apply at least 3/8 '' of the new plaster and trowel until smooth

bullet

Start filling pool with water right away

This seems to be simple steps, but each step is done thoroughly to insure a complete job that will last for years if properly maintained.
